Hello there!
Allow me to brush the dirt off my palms and introduce myself. I’m Madeline, a garden designer practicing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I specialize in English garden design with a focus on native Western Pennsylvanian plants. If this sounds like a unique combination, keep reading!
After graduating from the Master Gardener program at Penn State University, I moved to England to study garden design. I graduated with distinction from the Professional Garden Design program at the Cotswold Gardening School in England. I also studied floristry at the esteemed McQueens Flower School in London
While in England, I worked at the Chelsea Flower Show, designed gardens for 1000-year-old manor houses, crossed paths with neighborhood foxes, navigated train strikes to visit gardens, and, of course, learned to make an excellent cup of tea.
Back in my hometown of Pittsburgh, I use the garden design principles I studied in England to create beautiful outdoor spaces that support our Western Pennsylvanian ecosystem.
Let’s make your dream garden a reality!
Xx - Madeline
